Oh my goodness first time I've ever boiled peanuts. They were absolutely amazing and super, super fresh and well packaged. I followed the instructions and the results blew me off my feet. These are the best boiled peanuts ever. I will definitely order again and again.
So... how did boiled peanuts in a bag come about?
Being from the South, I was raised on boiled peanuts. They have been a snacking staple for as long as I have memories. It was quite surprising to me when I learned that these little treats are a Southern thing, and not necessarily loved the whole world over! I started boiling my peanuts in a bag years ago. With as much as we boil peanuts in my family, I started making up little "kits" that I could throw in the crock pot. I'd simply pull one out the night before, and have delicious peanuts by game time the next day! Once my friends saw how simple it was (just add water), they started asking me to make bags for them to take home.
What was simply my way of boiling peanuts has evolved into Porter's Boil-The-Bag Peanuts!

Took some to a potluck as a snack/appetizer, every single person (all 12-15 of them- PLUS ME) kept getting more until someone at the last round… making my second bag (original) and I cannot wait. We tried the Cajun first- absolutely AMAZING flavor and spice just right for the littles who loved them. These are SOO EASY… especially to be THIS GOOD! These peanuts are fantastic! It takes me back to summers visiting my grandma in South Georgia growing up! We used to buy them fresh from the farm and take them home and boil them up! Now living in Arizona, the ability to get these delivered to my door and have that authentic taste of southern boiled peanuts is amazing!
My husband was purchasing the boil in the bag peanuts from Ingles. His daughter lives across the country and was missing boiled peanuts. We had a sample pack mailed to her and she loves it.
I love these peanuts. I boiled on stove about 2.5 hours and they were awesome. Definitely will buy more. I am from Ohio and my granny had peanuts in her garden here. Cooking and eating these brought so many memories.
These are so awesome! I messed up the first batch a bit by honestly just not reading all the directions before I started lol. But these brought me back to the south while living in a area that thinks boiled peanuts is a southern myth, truly a great memory and delicious if you follow the instructions ;)

Peanuts in the bag, is sooo much easier to make than putting together the ingredients needed to make them from scratch. Just as good, with almost no work needed.
